The Mazomanie Historical Society is a non-profit institution that relies solely on dues and donations. This money is put to use in many and varied ways--improving our museum building, periodic updating of exhibits, inventorying items and continued research. The Mazomanie Historical Society employs a part-time curator whose expertise allows continuation of a systematic and professional care of our collection. Assisted by volunteers, she supervises a program of cleaning, organizing, cataloging and properly storing our artifacts. She also assists in creating exhibits for the museum and library. Her salary is paid solely from our annual benefactor appeal. We occasionally have expenses for speakers, tours and special events for members and the general public which further enhances the history of the Village of Mazomanie and the surrounding area.
If you contribute to the Mazomanie Historical Society, your contribution will help us to maintain the curator's position and to continue the high level care for the Society's growing collection of artifacts. YOUR CONTRIBUTION IS TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Federal Tax I.D. #39-612-6573.
Any amount will be greatly appreciated, however, if you become a Benefactor of $100 or more, you will be recognized in the following manner: When the museum opens each season, a news article will include the names of the Benefactors for that year. A recognition board, placed in the first room of the museum, will also publicize the Benefactors as will the museum brochure which is given to all visitors.
If you would like to contribute to the Mazomanie Historical Society, please send a check to the MAZOMANIE HISTORICAL SOCIETY, PO BOX 248, MAZOMANIE, WI 53560.
